AIR

i'm getting used to being small
peeling the weight of power over off my shoulders
hey what have i got to lose
my soul and my songs keep coming through
and i'm getting used to being small
and i'm getting used to spending sundays with myself

peeling the weight of religion off my shoulders
evangelized identity
institutionalized hypocrisy
my spirit's getting used to being free
and i'm getting used to the idea of dropping out

peeling the weight of institutions off my shoulders
cuz' they rape me of creativity
and i'm tired of living hypothetically
i'll never get used to it

eat nor drink, nor money have i none
but still i will be merry
i'm getting used to being just a little crazy

peeling the weight of rationality off my shoulders
so sorry if i'm not what you thought you'd find see
i've seen the light and lost my mind and
i could get used to it
i could get used to being small

peeling the weight of power over off my shoulders
hey what have i got to lose
my soul, my songs keep coming through
and i'm getting used to being small
